Substance Abuse Prevention Task Force
Who We Are
The Task Force was established through funding from the Massachusetts Department of Public Health and the Massachusetts Attorney General’s Office under an initiative to address the escalating crisis of substance abuse within the City of Lawrence, MA, specifically targeting prevention to youth below age 18.
Over its eight year history, the Task Force has expanded to include multiple representatives from the municipalities, residents and the business community, but has maintained its sole mission of youth substance abuse prevention. Currently, the Task Force is composed of 30 members
